September: Britain's Dr Purna Sen, Lecturer in Development Studies, Development Studies Institute of the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a Women's Rights and Violence Against Women Expert. She will give a lecture on the above subjects at the University of PNG. She will also attend the Women's Rights Conference in Port Moresby.

September: British Mime Artist Mimbo's performances in PNG to celebrate Connect UK's 2nd Anniversary. Sponsored  by BP, Air Niugini, DHL and Brian Bell.

October: Prize giving ceremony of the 2003 Commonwealth Short Story Competition
