The 2nd PNG International Film Festival will take place in May 2002. It will be an event to celebrate different films, cultures and languages of the world. Last year's festival was a successful event which was held in the capital city, Port Moresby.
This year's festival will be held in Port Moresby, University of PNG, Madang, Goroka and Lae.
A special press conference will be held on the 29th of April at the Crowne Plaza Hotel to officially launch the event.
We will be screening short, commercial and foreign films. The theme of our festival for 2002 is 'Family'. We are currently selecting the films and working on the festival programme.
